Does my child need experience to join?
No experience needed but some classes need to be taken before others.
• Art 2 (Prerequisite Art 1)
• Art 3 (Prerequisite Art 1, Art 2)
• Advanced Art (Prerequisite Art 1, Art 2, Art 3)
How big are the classes?
• Tiny Hands (3&4 yrs old) – 6 students
• Introduction to Art (5&6 yrs old) – 10 students
• Beginning Art (7&8 yrs old) – 12 students
• Art 1 & everything higher – 12 students
How often are classes?
Classes are once a week at your scheduled day and time.
How long are classes?
• Tiny Hands – Classes are 45 minutes long.
• Introduction to Art – Classes are 1 hour
• Beginning Art – Classes are 1 hour and fifteen minutes
• Art 1 & everything higher – Classes are 1 hour and fifteen minutes
How long are we signing up for?
You are registering for a 9-month class that parallels the school calendar, or whatever
remains of the class when you register.
How do payments work?
Tuition payments are processed automatically on the first of the month following
your initial registration.
What is the cancellation policy?
The one-time Registration and Art Supply fees are non-refundable once class has started. We recognize that routines may change and are happy to change your class schedule as availability permits. If your students can no longer continue their class, we require a 30-day cancellation notice to allow for time to fill your students’ spot.
Can we reschedule a class?
Yes! We understand family schedules. Just contact your teacher to arrange a different time or makeup class. Make-up classes must be arranged within the same week that your student missed their class. We do ask you to limit the number of make-up classes to 3.
Can we switch enrollment days?
Yes. Just contact your teacher to make the switch (provided there is available space).
Do parents stay for class?
• Tiny Hands – Due to the younger age of the child and the length of the class time, it is more common for parents to stay but not required.
• Introduction to Art, Beginning Art, Art 1 & higher, most parents drop off and pick up.
Can we start mid-school year?
Students may join mid-year as long as a seat is available in the class. Please contact us
for availability.
*Art 1 we no longer accept new students in spring but can enroll new Art 1 students for the upcoming school year.
